The molds for
cast bronze vessels are based upon hand thrown ceramic pieces. Wax molded
in these shapes is used to make sand molds into which the molten bronze is
poured. After the wax is burned away, molten bronze is poured into the cavity
and after cooling the mold is broken away. Patination ranges from azure to
deep brown and gold
